Japanese Activated Carbon

KS0002
Japanese activated carbon, 800 iodine value, relatively strong and not easy to break. Can absorb odor, ozone, smoke odor, and remove methanol.
What is TerraComb?
TerraComb is a honeycomb-shaped activated carbon adsorption material manufactured by blending powdered activated carbon, water-soluble binder, kaolin clay, and water, followed by high-pressure extrusion molding, drying, carbonization, and activation processes.
Differences Between TerraComb and Columnar Activated Carbon
Utilizes high-porosity, high-specific-surface-area activated carbon material
Low gas flow resistance
Space-saving (compact volume)

High Specific Surface Area
Sample Dimensions: 45mm (W) × 20mm (H) × 30mm (D)
TerraComb Structure: 28 large pores × 12 small pores per unit
1 pore = 1.1mm × 30mm = 33mm²
33mm² × 4 surfaces = 132mm²
132mm² × 336 pores = 44,352mm²
44,352mm² ÷ 1,000,000 = 0.044352m²
Columnar Carbon (Same Dimensions):
45mm × 20mm × 2 = 1,800mm²
45mm × 30mm × 2 = 2,700mm²
20mm × 30mm × 2 = 1,200mm²
Total: 5,700mm²
5,700mm² ÷ 1,000,000 = 0.0057m²
Comparison:
TerraComb vs. Columnar Carbon = 0.044352m² ÷ 0.0057m² = 7.781 times higher surface area
